The Organizing Committee of the 9th Asia Dengue Summit (9ADS 2026) is pleased to offer a limited number of Travel Grants to support delegates from Low and Lower-Middle Income Countries (LMICs).

This initiative promotes equitable participation and empowers emerging researchers and public health professionals to share their work and contribute to the global dengue prevention and control dialogue.

1. Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens and current residents of a country classified by the World Bank as a Low or Lower-Middle Income Economy. View eligible countries
  • Be the first author and presenting author of an abstract submitted through the official 9ADS 2026 Abstract Submission Portal.
  • Have their abstract accepted for oral or poster presentation and complete registration by the deadline (paid the registration fee).

2. Grant Benefits

Travel grant recipients will receive:

  • Reimbursement of registration fees (either online or in cash at the summit), and
  • A fixed travel grant amount based on region of travel:

3. Application Process

The travel grant application is integrated within the 9ADS 2026 Abstract Submission Portal.

To apply:

  1. Register for the 9th Asia Dengue Summit 2026.
  2. Submit your abstract.
  3. Select the Travel Grant Application option and upload the following:
    • Proof of Affiliation – A letter from your institution confirming your current employment or student status (PDF, on letterhead).
    • Proof of Identity – A copy of your passport or national ID (PDF).
    • A short statement (max 100 words) on how attending 9ADS 2026 will support your professional work. (PDF)

4. Conditions

  • Applicants must not have other full travel funding; partial support must be declared.
  • Grants will be disbursed on the last day of the summit, following verification of attendance and presentation.
  • Recipients are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements.
  • Any false declaration will result in immediate cancellation of the grant.
